Punjab launches Light & Sound Shows from Nov 4 to Nov 20, celebrating Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th martyrdom with devotion and grandeur.

Tarunpreet Singh Sond, the Punjab Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, said that the Punjab Government is honoring the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji with great devotion and grandeur across the state, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. As part of these celebrations, Light and Sound Shows that show the life and legacy of the ninth Guru will start on November 4 in different regions of Punjab.

The Minister said that the first shows will take place on November 4, 2025, starting at 6 PM at Lamini Stadium in Pathankot, Guru Gobind Singh Stadium in Jalandhar, Polo Ground in Patiala, and Sports Stadium Madhopur in Fatehgarh Sahib. All the required preparations have been made for these shows to go off without a hitch. They will run in all regions until November 20.

Sond went on to say that these Light and Sound Shows will clearly show the whole life path, spiritual philosophy, and ultimate sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, who fought to safeguard faith and righteousness. He went on to say that the goal of this project is to teach young people about the great Guru’s wonderful history and teachings. The Minister asked believers and their families to go to these shows and see these historic performances.

He further said that the activities honoring the 350th anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom began on October 25 at the ancient Gurdwara Sri Sis Ganj Sahib in New Delhi. As part of the ongoing celebrations, the Punjab Government will also hold four Nagar Kirtans from November 19 to 22, starting in Srinagar, to celebrate the Guru’s death as a martyr.
