Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal, at a massive Kisan Mahapanchayat, accused BJP of anti-farmer policies and pledged strong support for farmers’ rights.
Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, stated on Friday that the BJP’s persecution and cruelty to farmers will be the final nail in the coffin for the saffron party’s extermination from the nation’s political landscape.
The Chief Minister, joined by AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal, told the Kisan Mahapanchayat here today that the nation’s courageous and industrious food producers will give the BJP a lesson for their arrogance. He claimed that the saffron party’s power-hungry leaders had taken an anti-farmer posture, which is not good for the nation. Bhagwant Singh Mann praised the farmers’ tremendous contribution to our nation’s food production excess and self-reliance, recalling the sad days when India was in dire need of food grains and had to import them from other nations.
The BJP’s atrocities against Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel’s land have brought shame to the entire nation, according to AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal’s speech. He claimed that the state administration had rejected the AAP’s attempt to offer condolences to the families of the 85 farmers who had been detained by the BJP government. According to Arvind Kejriwal, the AAP is firmly supporting the nation’s farmers during this difficult time and will do everything in its power to help them.

According to the Punjab Chief Minister, the province alone currently supplies 150 lakh metric tons of wheat and 180 lakh metric tons of paddy to the national food pool. He emphasized the BJP’s insensitivity to farmers by claiming that the Gujarati state government had not provided any compensation to farmers following the untimely rain that devastated their crops. However, Bhagwant Singh Mann claimed that within a month of the floods devastating their harvest, the Punjab government sent out checks to compensate the farmers.
According to the Chief Minister, farmers are now receiving the highest remuneration in the nation—Rs 20,000 per acre—for the first time. The large turnout in this mahapanchayat, where the farmers came on their own, he claimed, indicates that the BJP’s demise has begun. Bhagwant Singh Mann claimed that it is intolerable that the arrogant BJP leaders are focusing on farmers in order to give their friends advantages.
The chief minister claimed that even though the “Achhe din” is still a myth, the “Sachhe din” will arrive when the nation’s courageous and intelligent citizens drive out the saffron party. According to Bhagwant Mann, the countrymen need a government that can uphold the goals of all the independence fighters, whereas the BJP is only bringing about an era of injustice and oppression. He claimed that the massive influx of people in this farmers’ mahapanchayat is a manifestation of the fact that people will soon drive these politicians into political oblivion.
According to the Chief Minister, farmers are being punished under the BJP government for merely pursuing their legal rights, which is completely untrue. He claimed that the wealthy businesses, who are receiving generous perks, had turned the BJP and its state and federal governments into puppets. It is really regrettable, according to Bhagwant Singh Mann, that the country’s assets are being sold to the supporters of the Union administration for pitiful rates.

The Chief Minister stated that while the haughty BJP leaders are disregarding it, agriculture and farmers should be given first importance because they are the foundation of the nation. He claimed that the BJP’s anti-farmer policies have made the problems of farmers even worse, as their enormous contribution to the nation’s food production independence has so far gone unnoticed. Bhagwant Singh Mann added that the AAP is firmly supporting the farmers in their struggle against oppression, injustice, and tyranny.
