CM Bhajan Lal Sharma reviews Tanot Mata Temple, Maharana Pratap Circuit & Poonchi Ka Lautha projects, prioritizing heritage & tourism development.

In Rajasthan, the Bhajan Lal government has begun developing a new plan for the growth of religious and tourism destinations. On Thursday, October 30, the meeting took place at the Chief Minister’s office. The Tanot Mata Temple, Poonchi Ka Lautha, and Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit’s construction and renovation projects were examined at this time. The development and restoration of the state’s magnificent history, ancient heritage, and religious tourist destinations were given top priority by the chief minister, who also gave them deadlines. According to Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, the state administration is dedicated to achieving the goal of heritage protection and development.

Heritage protection is a priority for the government: CM

He stated that the state government is creating the Maharana Pratap Tourist Circuit in order to introduce the general public to Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap’s life and to tell the tale of his bravery. The circuit encompasses the principal locations linked to Maharana Pratap’s life: Chawand, Haldighati, Gogunda, Kumbhalgarh, Diver, and Udaipur. For the project, a sum of Rs 100 crore has been allocated.

In Chawand, the Samadhi site and the Chetak memorial will be constructed.

The Chief Minister gave the officials instructions to design the development of Maharana Pratap’s samadhi site in Chawand. in order to provide adequate amenities for the visitors who come here. He reviewed the work done on the bridge and entry and stated that, given the area’s historical significance, comprehensive development should be carried out here. Additionally, he gave instructions to create a sketch of the large and famous Swami Bhakt Horse Chetak statue in Haldighati, which was built by Maharana Pratap.

Tanot Mata Temple has better arrangements: CM

The Tanot Mata Temple renovation project in Jaisalmer was also directed by the Chief Minister. “This location is a representation of border security, patriotism, and faith. The construction of the temple’s entrance, Dharamshala, and communication routes, as well as appropriate arrangements for the devotees’ stay, should be prioritized. The state government is in charge of giving devotees who visit the Tanot Mata shrine a comfortable and spiritual environment.

Additionally, he gave the order to expedite the bidding procedure for Govardhan Parikrama Marg and the Gautha of Poonch. Onkar Singh Lakhawat, chairman of the Rajasthan Heritage Authority, and top representatives from the relevant departments attended the event.
