Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini inspects Fatehabad’s roads, water, irrigation & hospital projects, ensuring timely completion and farmer compensation.
According to Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini, the State Government is prioritizing development and public welfare initiatives. He gave authorities instructions to make sure that all projects pertaining to drinking water, roads, sewers, irrigation, flood control, waterlogging, and other infrastructure in the Fatehabad district are finished on schedule and with high quality. At the Rest House in Fatehabad on Thursday, the Chief Minister presided over a district-level review meeting of officers.
In order to efficiently drain water from the flood-prone districts, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini ordered that the Hisar-Ghaggar Drain’s breadth be extended. In order to lessen the strain on Ottu Lake, he also ordered the proposal of an alternate water outflow route. In order to stop soil erosion and clogs, the irrigation department was instructed to investigate the possibility of lining the drain with concrete in the communities it runs through.
According to the Chief Minister, waterlogging in any location needs to be eliminated right away so that farmers can plant their crops on schedule. In order to prevent waterlogging in upcoming monsoon seasons, he directed that low-lying regions be located and a long-term strategy be created.

Regarding crop damage, the Chief Minister stated that it is important to verify crop losses brought on by recent rains as soon as possible. To guarantee that the real impacted farmers receive compensation, farmers’ data entered on the compensation portal must be physically verified. He underlined that while the government will pay all farmers fairly, the reports must be truthful and open.
The Chief Minister ordered that the purchase of crops from every farmer in the district be guaranteed while examining the paddy procurement in mandis. Under all conditions, all farmers who have enrolled on the compensation portal must be verified.
Evaluation of the Chilli Lake Initiative
After reviewing the Chilli Lake Project’s development, the Chief Minister instructed the Deputy Commissioner to forward progress reports from all relevant ministries to him. According to him, the quality of the job must be examined, and any section found to be doing subpar work should face harsh consequences. He ordered the e-Bhoomi portal to be used for the land purchase procedure in order to address land-related concerns in lake development. A landowner should use e-Bhoomi to buy the complete 4-kanal property if they want to sell it.
Evaluation of Roads, Sewerage Works, and Drinking Water
In order to provide citizens with clean drinking water, the Chief Minister ordered that the waterworks being built in the Fatehabad sectors by the Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) be finished as soon as possible.
In addition, he examined the district’s road and sewer infrastructure and announced that the Public Works Department (PWD) has been assigned as the nodal agency. Before winter arrives, the agency needs to make sure that all of the district’s road repairs are finished. In order to prevent digging after road construction, he ordered that 40 roads in the district be widened as soon as possible and that drinking water and sewer connections be installed before any new roads are constructed.
Officials were cautioned by the chief minister that the caliber of development projects will not be compromised. He gave the Deputy Commissioner instructions to monitor development projects on a monthly basis. If a quality issue is discovered, he should get a report and harsh action against the concerned officer and contractor.
Guidelines for Hospital Construction and Urban Bodies
To improve civic facilities for urban dwellers, the Chief Minister directed the Urban Local Bodies Department’s personnel to finish development projects in regularized colonies. According to him, holding municipal cleaning contests will raise public awareness of cleanliness and promote greater citizen participation.
To guarantee improved medical facilities for the people of the district, he ordered that the 200-bed hospital in Fatehabad, which is now under construction, be finished within the current fiscal year.
Evaluation of Bhuna’s Water Drainage Proposal
After reviewing the Bhuna area’s water drainage proposal, the Chief Minister stated that the municipal body’s plan to release water from Agrasen Chowk to the drain should be evaluated for viability and swiftly implemented.
In order to address the problem of rainwater accumulation, he stated that the pipeline installation project, which was earlier approved and cost Rs 10.47 crore, should be finished as soon as possible.
