CM Sharma held a courtesy meeting with PM Modi in Delhi, discussing Rajasthan’s development projects, social initiatives, and inviting him to Pravasi Diwas.

Jaipur: The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) described Monday’s meeting between Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi as a courtesy call. In the meantime, CM Sharma tweeted, “Today, in New Delhi, I had the privilege of a courtesy meeting with the architect of developed India, the illustrious Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, and received his affectionate blessings and inspirational guidance.”

The one-hour-long seminar covered important developmental challenges and current projects in Rajasthan.

Following Diwali, this was CM Sharma’s first encounter with the prime minister. The two leaders discussed the status of ongoing development projects around the state as well as projects financed by the central government.

According to authorities, CM Sharma briefed the Prime Minister on the numerous infrastructure and social initiatives being carried out in Rajasthan with national support.

The Chief Minister returned to Delhi’s Jodhpur House after the meeting. During his visit, he is also expected to meet with a number of other senior authorities. CM Sharma also formally invited PM Modi to the Rajasthani Pravasi Diwas, which is scheduled on December 10, at the meeting.

According to officials, the event, which is being organized for the first time by the Rajasthan government, intends to promote investment and cooperation in a number of areas while also fortifying the ties between the state and the international Rajasthani community. In three months, this was CM Sharma’s third encounter with PM Modi.

The two had earlier met at Parliament House on July 29. Later, on September 25, PM Modi traveled to Banswara with BJP State President Madan Rathore and Chief Minister Sharma.

But a political perspective is also being applied to the conference. There hasn’t been a cabinet expansion in Rajasthan even after the BJP government was formed. This has stoked rumors that PM Modi and CM Sharma may have brought up the subject during their meeting.

Additionally, it should be mentioned that on December 15, the CM Sharma administration will mark two years in power. In light of this, it is thought that he briefed the PM on the government’s accomplishments and major projects during the previous two years.
