 New Delhi: The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has introduced a new housing program for the Lower Income Group (LIG) and the economically weaker sector (EWS) in light of the Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana Phase 1’s success. For these individuals, DDA has announced Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana 2025 Phase-2. Apartment reservations under this new program will open on November 7, 2025, at 12:00 p.m.

These apartments under the LIG and EWS categories will cost between Rs 11.8 lakh and Rs 32.7 lakh.

DDA Apartments: Where Can I Find Apartments?

These apartments are available in Delhi’s Narela, Rohini, Ramgarh Colony, and Shivaji Marg, per information obtained from the DDA. LIG category apartments will be offered in Rohini Sectors 34 and 35 and Ramgarh Colony (near Jahangirpuri), while EWS category apartments will be offered in Narela and Shivaji Park (near Moti Nagar).

Narela has 1,120 apartments that range in size from 34.8 to 35.1 square meters. The cost of these apartments ranges from Rs 13.7 lakh to Rs 13.8 lakh. A 15% discount is applied, though, and the final price would be between Rs 11.8 lakh and Rs 11.9 lakh.

There are 308 LIG apartments in Rohini’s Sectors 34 and 35, with sizes varying from 33.3 to 33.9 square meters. Without any discounts, the prices of these apartments range from Rs 14 lakh to Rs 14.2 lakh. The 73 LIG apartments at Ramgarh Colony range in size from 31.9 to 35.3 square meters. The cost of these apartments ranges from Rs 15.3 lakh to Rs 16.9 lakh. However, their costs will decrease to between Rs 13.1 and Rs 14.5 lakh after a 15% discount. There are 36 EWS apartments in Shivaji Marg, with sizes varying from 33.1 to 45.1 square meters. Without any discounts, the prices of these apartments range from Rs 25.2 lakh to Rs 32.7 lakh.

Phase 2 of the DDA Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana 2025

A LIG flat under DDA’s Jan Sadharan Awas Yojana 2025 Phase 2 requires a booking fee of Rs 1 lakh, whereas an EWS flat requires Rs 50,000. The “first-come, first-served” policy will apply to the sale of these apartments.
