Governor Mangubhai Patel praises PM Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, urges students to stay informed, uphold values, and engage in nation-building initiatives.

Governor Shri Mangubhai Patel stated that students need to keep up with current events and the nation’s advancement in addition to their academic studies. He commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat program as an outstanding endeavor that offers valuable perspectives on innovation and progress occurring around India. The Governor further recommended that colleges conduct group Mann Ki Baat listening sessions in their residence halls.

At Barkatullah University on Sunday, Governor Shri Patel spoke to students during the Mann Ki Baat collective listening session. At the Gyan Vigyan Bhavan, where the event was held, Governor Shri Patel planted a sapling. “Hum Uthe, Jag Uthe – Lakshya Geet,” a musical performance by students Jainsvi Sharma and Khushi Sen, kicked off the program.

Prime Minister Modi’s programs, like Mann Ki Baat and Pariksha Pe Charcha, are exceptional efforts to raise national awareness, according to the governor. The Prime Minister emphasizes through Mann Ki Baat the role that underprivileged, underprivileged, and underdeveloped areas and communities have in the development of the country. He pointed out that these motivational tales bring confidence, drive, and excitement for growth and change. Similar to this, the Prime Minister in Pariksha Pe Charcha helps students prepare for exams by offering helpful advice and counsels parents on how to engage with their kids, both of which lessen exam-related stress.

Prime Minister Modi has started the “Viksit Bharat @2047” program, which aims to determine the country’s destiny on the 100th anniversary of independence, according to Governor Shri Patel. In New Delhi, the Prime Minister hosted a seminar with 3,000 chosen young people for Swami Vivekananda Jayanti, inviting their suggestions for the country’s progress. He also emphasized the need to blend values (sanskars) with actual learning in order to give life purpose. Governor Shri Patel stated that families as well as educational institutions have a duty to uphold values. Since children pick up more from their parents’ behavior, a family atmosphere founded on values is crucial. He made the observation that knowledge is inadequate if one does not feel a feeling of duty and respect for one’s parents, society, and country. “Parents teach their children to walk by holding their hand; no individual, society, or nation can advance by neglecting or mistreating them after they grow old,” he stated.

Vice-Chancellor S.K. Ja in gave the opening remarks, and Registrar Dr. Anil Sharma then gave a vote of thanks. The program was led by Pawan Mishra, the Dean of Student Welfare.
