Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma hosts Pravasi Rajasthani Meet in Kolkata on Oct 28 to engage NRRs and encourage investment and state development.
To establish a connection with the Non-Resident Rajasthani (NRR) community in Kolkata, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma will organize the “Pravasi Rajasthani Meet” on October 28.
It is the third event in the series, following Hyderabad and Surat, and is a part of a larger effort to generate excitement for the highly anticipated “Pravasi Rajasthani Divas,” which will take place in Jaipur on December 10, 2025.

The event will also include participation from Principal Secretary (Industries and Commerce) Alok Gupta, Commissioner, Rajasthan Foundation, Manisha Arora, Commissioner, Bureau of Investment Promotion, Suresh Kumar Ola, Minister for Urban Development and Housing (UDH) Jhabar Singh Kharra, Additional Chief Secretary (Rural Development) Shreya Guha, and other high-ranking state government officials.
They will engage with businesspeople, entrepreneurs, and industrialists from the NRR and ask them to actively contribute to the advancement of the state. By promoting involvement and investment in the state, the event seeks to deepen the ties between Rajasthan and its international community, guaranteeing their ongoing participation in the state’s development.
The representatives will also meet one-on-one with CEOs from a range of industries, such as mining, chemicals, and textiles and hosiery.

In Hyderabad and Surat, Chief Minister Sharma urged non-resident Rajasthanis to investigate fresh prospects in Rajasthan during earlier Pravasi NRR Meets. The state government’s dedication to creating a thriving ecosystem where their contributions are valued and utilized for the state’s inclusive and sustainable development was emphasized by him.
As the event industry partner of the Pravasi Rajasthani Divas 2025, the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) is organizing the Pravasi Rajasthani Meet in Kolkata.
