Goa CM Pramod Sawant invited by Punjab ministers to the 350th Shaheedi Purab honoring Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s sacrifice for freedom and faith.

Goa CM Pramod Sawant met with Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Minister S. Gurmeet Singh Khudian and Industries and Commerce, Investment Promotion, Power, and NRI Affairs Minister Punjab Shri. Sanjeev Arora on Thursday to formally invite them to the events marking the 350th anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji’s martyrdom (Shaheedi Purab).

The Ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, is generally regarded as ‘Hind Di Chadar‘ for his selfless sacrifice to defend human rights and religious freedom. During the meeting, Cabinet Ministers expressed pride in his sacrifices.

The invitation, which detailed the array of elaborate celebratory events being planned by the Punjab government, was personally delivered to the Chief Minister of Goa by Cabinet Ministers Sanjeev Arora and Gurmeet Singh Khudian. The main goal of these festivities, which are planned to take place at several historically significant sites, is to commemorate the life, teachings, and unmatched sacrifice of the Guru.

These ceremonies will be held in remembrance of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji’s tremendous sacrifice to defend secular values and human freedom, according to cabinet ministers. According to him, the martyrdom of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is a message of justice, freedom, and tolerance for all people, not only Sikhs.
