Punjab Invites the Chief Minister of Odisha to the 350th Martyrdom Celebration of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji: According to a news release from the Punjab government, the Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, has been formally invited to take part in the celebrations marking the 350th anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s martyrdom as the Ninth Sikh Guru.
During their special visit to Bhubaneswar on Thursday, Punjab’s Finance Minister Advocate Harpal Singh Cheema and Food and Supplies Minister Lal Chand Kataruchak formally invited Chief Minister Majhi to the state’s celebrations of the anniversary.
Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema described the scope and importance of the commemorative programs at the meeting at the office of the Odisha Chief Minister.

According to the press release, advocate Cheema stressed that the celebrations are meant to be a national tribute to the Guru’s unmatched sacrifice for human rights and religious freedom.
Minister Cheema declared, “The martyrdom of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji is a crucial moment in India’s history, epitomizing the defense of fundamental human values.”
