Haryana Health Minister announces addition of private AYUSH hospitals to state healthcare list, enhancing medical options for government employees, retirees, and families.

Arti Singh Rao, the Health Minister of Haryana, said that the state government is giving its employees, retirees, and their families a lot of medical care. Several private hospitals have also been included to the list of places where recipients can get treatment, in addition to government facilities. This way, they can go to a hospital close to them that they like. In response to employees’ requests, the state government has also included a number of private AYUSH institutions to its list. The department has now added two more AYUSH hospitals to the list, bringing the total to about a dozen.

The Health Minister said that the government has added Sanskaram Hospital and Trauma Centre in Kheri Taluka, Patauda in Jhajjar district, and Vedamrit Healthcare Private Limited in Barwala, Hisar district to its list of approved hospitals. Now, employees of the Haryana government, retirees, and their families can get treatment at these private AYUSH hospitals. They can get tested and treated for illnesses that the government approves and get their medical expenditures paid back as long as they follow the rules.

A representative from the Haryana Directorate of AYUSH further said that each private AYUSH facility on the list will have a nodal officer who will be the main point of contact with the AYUSH department in case of any concerns.

He also talked about the parameters of the empanelment, saying that if there is an emergency, a disaster, or too many patients in government hospitals, the empanelled institutions will agree to share resources like ambulances, ICUs, burn units, and ward beds as needed.

He further said that the private AYUSH hospitals that are on the panel must follow all of the regulations, guidelines, acts, and notices that the state government sends out from time to time. The Ayurvedic hospitals that are on the NABH-accredited panel will stay on it for three years, as long as their accreditation certificate is still valid. The hospitals will have to reapply for empanelment after this time.
