Haryana Minister Anil Vij directs timely completion of Ambala pump house power connection, Tangri River cleanup, Shaheedi Smarak, and key infrastructure projects.

Sh. Anil Vij the Haryana Minister of Energy, Transport, and Labor, said that the pump house in the Ambala Cantonment Industrial Area will be connected to a power hotline to make sure that the electricity supply is always on. Soon, a hotline will connect to the pump house.

Sh. Vij led a joint review meeting with officers from different departments in Ambala Cantonment. He told them to speed up all ongoing development projects and make sure they are finished on time.

Sh. Vij added that the tender for the Industrial Area boundary wall will be approved at the next High Power Purchase Committee meeting. After that, building will begin to keep the area from flooding.

The Minister told the Irrigation Department to start cleaning up the Tangri River from Chandpura to Kot Kachua by November 15. This will make it easier for rains to drain away. Also, instructions were provided to put in a water-lifting pump near the village of Ramgarh Majra to move water into the Tangri River.

Shaheedi Smarak must be finished by November 1.

Sh. Anil Vij told PWD authorities to make sure that all of the building work at the Shaheedi Smarak is done by November 1 and that any work that is still going on gets done quickly. The Minister also told people to start work on the Machhauda ROB (Railway Over Bridge) and the Tangri River Dam Road as soon as possible. He also told the Municipal Council to finish putting in the sewers on the last part of Babyal Road in Mahesh Nagar so that the road work could be finished.

Building a Dairy Complex in Brahman Majra

Sh. Vij told the Municipal Council to start building a Dairy Complex in Brahman Majra as soon as possible so that dairies may move out of the city. He also told them to finish putting in the elevators in the multilevel parking lot shortly, fix the broken street lights before Diwali, and start building Football Chowk near the stadium.

The Energy Minister also told Discoms staff to move transformers off of highways, fix broken underground power lines in Sadar Bazaar using new equipment, and move 11 kV line poles off of Tangri Dam Road.

During the meeting, SE, Sh. Munish Bhardwaj (Irrigation Department), XEN, Sh. Krishan Bhukal, SE, Sh. V.K. Goyal and XEN, Sh. Vikas (Discom), XEN, Sh. Ritesh Agarwal (PWD), EO, Sh. Devender Narwal and XEN, Sh. Surender (Municipal Council), and other senior officers were present.
