MP to celebrate Foundation Day on Nov 1 with theme ” Industry and Employment Year,” featuring cultural events, exhibitions & focus on self-reliance.

The Madhya Pradesh Foundation Day commemoration on November 1 will be themed “Industry and Employment Year,” as announced by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. Impactful presentations will be provided by the state to highlight progress in Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) and Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh, in addition to showcasing innovations and key activities. Programs will emphasize the development of skills, technical education, entrepreneurship, and youth empowerment to promote self-reliance and employment under the theme “Industries are Temples of Employment.”

Achievements from the previous two years and innovations in a variety of sectors, as well as religious, cultural, and tourism activities that have contributed to the state’s economic growth, will be illustrated. The Chief Minister underscored the importance of observing the Foundation Day as a state festival, with elaborate celebrations taking place not only at the main event in Bhopal but also at district and divisional headquarters statewide.

The performance will be conducted by Jubin Nautiyal, a playback vocalist.

The state-level program will take place on November 1 at the Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal, where the renowned playback vocalist Jubin Nautiyal will perform. Fireworks, a drone display themed “Heritage to Development,” and devotional performances dedicated to Shri Krishna will be featured at the event. On November 2 and 3, the venue will host the grand drama “Samrat Vikramaditya” and musical concerts.

These events will emphasize the economic and industrial accomplishments.

The industrial and economic accomplishments of the state will also be emphasized during the Foundation Day events. In addition to prominent industrialists and contributors to the state’s economy, numerous beneficiaries of government programs will be recognized. All regions of the state will be equally represented in the organization of activities, and each district will emphasize its accomplishments and development at the local level. The celebrations will emphasize the contributions of self-help groups, ITIs, polytechnics, and other institutions that are involved in the empowerment of youth and women, as well as initiatives launched by farmers’ organizations.

Exhibitions and Fairs of Swadeshi Dishes

Both in Bhopal and at the district headquarters, exhibitions will be conducted on a variety of themes, such as the lives and contributions of prominent leaders, Emperor Vikramaditya, “One District–One Product,” and Indian spiritual traditions. Events scheduled for November 1 to 3 include a drone technology workshop, a traditional arts exhibition, a forest fair, and a festival of indigenous cuisine. The meeting was attended by senior officials, Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain, and critical advisors in order to organise these diverse events.
