CM Dr. Yadav promotes MSMEs and startups in MP, announcing ₹197 Cr incentives, 800+ industrial sites, and support for youth-led businesses under Udyam Kranti.

According to CM Dr. Yadav the state government is encouraging entrepreneurship to foster self-sufficiency among the youth. He stated that this year is being commemorated as the Year of Employment and Investment. According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the foremost objective is to allocate resources to the youth, their aspirations, and their future. “He emphasized that the Udyam Kranti Yojana has motivated thousands of young people to establish their own businesses with the assistance of banks.” He further stated that young people are no longer seeking employment; rather, they are assuming the role of job creators.

According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the Indian economy is supported by micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The nation’s treasury is fortified, employment opportunities are generated, and the foundation of Atmanirbhar Bharat is fortified by the youth. Dr. Yadav, the Chief Minister, stated that the radiance of New India is disseminating universally prior to Diwali. He further stated that this is a Diwali festivity for a new India, a festival of self-respect and confidence.

On Monday, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav addressed a conference of micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs in Bhopal.

According to the Chief Minister, 700 MSME units have received incentives totaling ₹197 crore, while 63 start-ups have received incentives totaling ₹1 crore. Land allotment notifications were issued to 237 MSME entrepreneurs in order to facilitate industrial establishment. Over ₹347 crore in bank loans have been granted to 5,084 adolescents under the Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana. The Chief Minister engaged in personal interactions with entrepreneurs, discussing the government’s initiatives to stimulate the MSME sector.

According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, approximately 80 crore individuals in India are associated with MSMEs, which are not merely enterprises but also the bedrock of hope, dignity, and self-reliance for millions of families. Approximately 30% of the GDP is contributed by the over 6 crore MSMEs in India, which account for 45% of exports. He stated that local products, such as Maheshwari sarees, Sharbati wheat from Sehore, Basmati rice from Raisen, zari work from Bhopal, Jhabua dolls, and millets from Dindori, have the potential to become international trademarks.

According to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, the Startup Policy 2025 provides ₹10,000 per month in support to approved businesses for a period of one year. MP presently has more than 4 lakh registered MSME manufacturing units.

The state is home to more than 6,000 active enterprises, with 47% of them being owned by women. As many as 102 incubation centers assist young people in the transformation of their ideas into viable enterprises. MP has been awarded the “Leader” position in the 2022 Startup India Rankings. In 2025, more than 800 industrial sites have been allocated, and 19 new industrial areas are currently being developed, with an additional 10 being proposed. The Udyam Kranti Yojana offers loans of up to ₹50 lakh without collateral.

The simplicity of conducting business has been enhanced by the simplified digital return filing and GST. Dr. Yadav, motivated by Prime Minister Shri Modi’s “Vocal for Local,” encouraged individuals to transform the slogan into an economic independence movement. Small enterprises will construct a self-sufficient India.

Shri Chaitanya Kumar Kashyap, the Minister for MSME, commended Dr. Yadav’s leadership and emphasized that a ₹200 crore incentive had been distributed as of August 2025. For the first time in history, exporters in a landlocked state have received a 50% subsidy. Investment summits were conducted as far as Guwahati. Entrepreneurs were granted up to 1,080 sections this year. The state’s objective is to establish industrial entities in each block. Startups that have been approved receive a monthly payment of ₹10,000 for a period of one year.

Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh, the Principal Secretary of Industry, stated that the 18 new industry-related policies that were implemented in February 2025 are the most advantageous. MSMEs are currently eligible for a fixed 50% incentive for investments of up to ₹83 crore. Over 2,500 entities have received financial assistance totaling ₹2,162 crore in 2024-25.

In the past six years, a total of 820 units have been granted land allotments; the current total exceeds 1,100 units with the addition of 237 units. Of the 6,000 enterprises in MP, 2,800 are operated by women. 83 enterprises have received over ₹1 crore in assistance under the Startup Policy 2025.

Additionally, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav engaged in videoconferencing with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs from the Balaghat and Tikamgarh districts. Commissioner Shri Dilip Kumar, senior officials, entrepreneurs, startup representatives, and members of industrial organizations attended the conference.
