Haryana Industries Minister meets Fukuoka Deputy Governor to boost collaboration in automotive and robotics sectors.

Sh. Rao Narbir Singh, the Industries and Commerce Minister of Haryana, met with the Fukuoka Deputy Governor Prefecture today during his visit to Japan. The two parties deliberated on the enhancement of collaboration in the fields of automotive manufacturing, automation, and the development of advanced technologies.

A high-level delegation from Haryana recently visited Japan, where investment opportunities were promoted through meetings in Tokyo and Osaka, under the leadership of Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. This is a noteworthy event. The ongoing visit, which is now being led by the Industries Minister, is now encompassing additional industrial regions of Japan, thereby reviving bilateral collaboration.

Fukuoka is recognized for its high concentration of automobile manufacturers and its proficiency in engineering and robotics. Investors in the region have demonstrated a strong desire to collaborate with Haryana’s expanding industrial ecosystem and technological capabilities.

The Industries Minister extended an invitation to companies from Fukuoka to collaborate in fields such as electric vehicle manufacturing, electronics, semiconductors, biotechnology, and technical textiles, underscoring Haryana’s emphasis on transportation, research and development-driven manufacturing, and innovation. He emphasized Haryana’s policy-driven approach, skilled personnel, and robust industrial infrastructure, which facilitates business operations.

The Minister subsequently participated in an Investors’ Roadshow. He engaged with prominent investors and representatives from the semiconductor, automotive, textile, biotech, and electronics industries. He urged Japanese enterprises to visit Haryana and observe the state’s investor-friendly and favorable ecosystem firsthand.

The Industries Minister extended an invitation to the Deputy Governor of Fukuoka Prefecture and corporate representatives to attend the forthcoming “Happening Haryana Global Investors’ Summit” in Haryana, which is scheduled to take place in 2026. The summit will function as a dynamic platform for the enhancement of bilateral partnerships, technology exchange, and investment cooperation.

Dr. Amit Kumar Agrawal, Commissioner and Secretary of the Department of Industries and Commerce, and other senior officials were also part of the delegation.
