Minister Vipul Goel reviews Haryana’s Modern Tehsil Project to digitize offices, boost efficiency, and offer citizen-friendly services under Viksit Haryana-2047.
Sh. Vipul Goel, the Minister of Revenue and Disaster Management in Haryana, presided over a high-level meeting at the Civil Secretariat today to evaluate the Modern Tehsil Project. The meeting was attended by senior officers of the department and a variety of constituents. The goal of this initiative was to provide tehsil offices with innovative and digital technologies to enhance the accessibility, efficiency, and transparency of public services.
During the meeting, Sh. Vipul Goel stated that the Haryana Government is prioritizing administrative reforms as part of the Viksit Haryana-2047 vision, which is being led by Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini. Tehsil offices will be equipped with cafeterias and other contemporary amenities as part of this initiative to guarantee that citizens have access to superior facilities while conducting their duties.
The project will incorporate the significant suggestions that were shared by a variety of stakeholders during the meeting. The undertaking will be the subject of tenders in the near future. He stated that the project will be executed in a phased manner, with the initial phase consisting of the development of certain tehsils as Modern Tehsils as prototype projects. Consequently, the initiative will be extended to encompass the entire state.
According to Sh. Goel, the Modern Tehsil Project will not only improve administrative efficacy but also contribute to the establishment of a tehsil system that is citizen-centric and free of corruption.
