In terms of revenue, Sunday was a terrific day for Bollywood and South Indian films. Let’s see how much money the movie made on September 28, 2025.

Delhi, New Delhi:  Bollywood and South Indian cinema are currently quite popular. ‘They Call Him OG’ is drawing crowds, but ‘Jolly LLB 3’ is also making an impression.

Additionally, India’s official Oscar 2026 entry has been made available in theaters. But Homebound is aching to be seen in theaters. Let’s see how much money these mo ies brought in over the weekend.

Jolly LLB 3 : 

Over the weekend, Jolly LLB 3, the courtroom drama starring Saurabh Shukla, Arshad Warsi, and Akshay Kumar, once again gained pace. On Saturday, the movie brought in Rs 6.5 crore, while on Sunday, it brought in Rs 6.25 crore. In just ten days, the movie has made a total of Rs 90.50 crore. Since its September 19 release, the movie has made Rs 90.50 crore.

The third installment of the Jolly LLB series is called Jolly LLB 3. Jolly LLB was previously published in 2013. In 2017, Jolly LLB 2 was made available. Both movies were adored by viewers. Amrita Rao, Huma Qureshi, Gajraj Rao, Annu Kapoor, and Boman Irani are the stars of Jolly LLB 3.

Homebound : 

Ishaan Khatter, Janhvi Kapoor, and Vishal Jethwa starred in the social drama Homebound, which carried on with its modest but consistent run. The movie made Rs 50 lakh on its second day, up from Rs 30 lakh on its first. The movie made Rs 52 lakh at the box office on Sunday, the third day. The fact that India’s official Oscar 2026 entry has only brought in Rs 1.32 crore thus far is disheartening.

Chapter 1 of Lokah: Chandra 

Even in its fourth week, the superhero drama Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra held up well. It increased its total to over Rs 146.51 crore in India on Saturday by adding Rs 3.25 crore and Rs 2 crore. The movie, which stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, has solidified its status as one of the biggest South Indian hits of the year.
