UP govt launches guided tour from Lucknow to Naimisharanya & Ayodhya on World Tourism Day, offering a safe, budget-friendly, and spiritual experience for devotees.
The UP govt has launched a new effort to promote religion tourism in honor of World Tourism Day on September 27. The Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation (UPSTDC), led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has begun offering one-day guided trips from Lucknow to Naimisharanya and Ayodhya.
Concessional prices and simple online booking at www.upstdc.co.in are features of the trips, which are intended to give devotees a safe, economical, and meaningful travel experience. Senior persons are eligible for further discounts.
According to Tourism and Culture Minister Jaiveer Singh, the program seeks to enhance religious tourism by enabling pilgrimages to significant mythical locations, in keeping with CM Yogi’s agenda. “Ensuring an experience that blends devotion with comfort and cultural enrichment is our top priority,” he continued.

The Naimisharanya Tour is open from 8:00 am to 7:30 pm on Friday, Sunday, and Monday. The cost is Rs 1,700, with senior persons paying Rs 1,000. Chakratirtha, Vyas Gaddi, and Lalita Devi Temple are among the locations.
The Ayodhya Tour is open from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. The cost is 2,000 rupees (1,000 rupees for seniors). Ram ki Paidi, Hanumangarhi, and Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple are among the locations.
Each package includes meals, refreshments, a keepsake, and a guided storytelling session on legendary tales, according to UPSTDC Managing Director Isha Priya. The comfort and dignity of senior individuals have received particular consideration.
According to officials, the guided tours would create new opportunities for visitors and devotees to engage with Uttar Pradesh’s spiritual legacy while also fostering cross-cultural dialogue and fostering communal ties.
