Delhi Police’s Special Cell has arrested five terror suspects allegedly linked to a wider module planning “anti-national activities.”

The suspects were arrested from Delhi and three other states, including Jharkhand, Telangana, and Maharashtra.

Police said they believe the material recovered from the suspects was being used to make Improvised Explosive Device (IEDs).

Sources quoted officials saying the arrests followed an intelligence alert about individuals allegedly in the advanced stages of preparing terrorist activities.

It was added that the operatives have been using social media to radicalise youth.
