Shri Vasudev Devnani, Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, addressed MLAs on Monday that this is the House.

 

Take it as the House, and everyone should work together to maintain its dignity. He said not to talk loudly while sitting in the middle of the debate.

 

He said not to interrupt the House. The behavior of talking loudly while sitting in the House is inappropriate.

Shri Devnani stated that this House is a spiritual location. Here, you should discuss and present your case to the House, as well as ask questions.

 

He stated that it is not appropriate to rise up on every issue. All MLAs should consider about this. He stated that some members of this Legislative Assembly are young.

 

They came directly from the student union after being elected to the Legislative Assembly. These youthful MLAs will also have to explain to you the proper behavior in the House.

 

The House follows norms and customs. Shri Devnani stated that the voters elected the MLAs and sent them to this sacred House.

 

There are some limitations and guidelines here. The public expects a lot from us. Shri Devnani stated that all MLAs must obey the rules of the House.

 

Shri Devnani stated that members who approach one other’s chairs and converse should likewise refrain from doing so.

 

If a member has to meet with a minister, he should go to their room. Everyone should work together to keep the House running smoothly.

 

Shri Devnani requested that the members obey the House’s rules.
