IndiGo Updates Travel Advisory Over Iranian Airspace Concerns
This advisory comes as Iranian officials prepare for the second round of talks with the US in Switzerland, scheduled for Tuesday. In parallel, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards conducted a naval exercise in the Strait of Hormuz, named “Smart Control of Hormuz Strait,” to test operational readiness against potential threats, according to Tasnim News Agency.
Additionally, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), for in-depth discussions on nuclear matters. Rising tensions follow the US deployment of a second aircraft carrier to the Middle East, prompting Iran to warn of potential counterattacks on US military bases if hostilities escalate.
