The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is tipped to measure approximately 158.4 x 143.2 x 4.5mm when unfolded, including slightly raised bezels. Without them, the thickness could drop to around 3.9mm, compared to the 4.2mm of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, marking a noticeable reduction. When folded, the phone could measure 158.4 x 72.8 x 9mm.
Battery and Charging Upgrades
Certification on China’s 3C website reveals the model number SM-F9710, suggesting support for 45W fast charging, a significant upgrade from the 25W fast charging on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The device is also expected to house a 5,000 mAh battery, potentially improving endurance for heavy users.
While these specifications and design details are based on early leaks, they provide an exciting glimpse into Samsung’s upcoming foldable flagship.
