Samsung – The tech world is buzzing as CAD renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 surface online, offering a first look at what the next-generation foldable smartphone could look like. Following the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which launched during the July 2025 Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung seems to be focusing on a slimmer form factor and subtle design refinements.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Design Leaks

The leaked renders, shared by Android Headlines in collaboration with tipster Steve H. McFly (@OnLeaks), show a device with a more streamlined profile compared to its predecessor. The rear panel appears flat, reminiscent of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 design, while the color scheme shows a subtle tweak in blue saturation.

The camera setup at the back remains familiar, featuring a triple-camera module housed in a vertically aligned pill-shaped bar next to an LED flash. The front selfie camera is expected to retain its current style and position.

The Galaxy Z Fold 8 is tipped to measure approximately 158.4 x 143.2 x 4.5mm when unfolded, including slightly raised bezels. Without them, the thickness could drop to around 3.9mm, compared to the 4.2mm of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, marking a noticeable reduction. When folded, the phone could measure 158.4 x 72.8 x 9mm.

Battery and Charging Upgrades

Certification on China’s 3C website reveals the model number SM-F9710, suggesting support for 45W fast charging, a significant upgrade from the 25W fast charging on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. The device is also expected to house a 5,000 mAh battery, potentially improving endurance for heavy users.

While these specifications and design details are based on early leaks, they provide an exciting glimpse into Samsung’s upcoming foldable flagship.
