Samsung has officially introduced the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra during its Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event in San Francisco. Positioned as the most premium offering in the S26 lineup, the Ultra variant brings top-tier hardware and a brand-new feature that steals the spotlight — an integrated Privacy Display.
While Samsung’s Ultra models are usually known for their powerful cameras and performance upgrades, this year the company has shifted attention to privacy innovation, alongside enhancements in AI and overall performance.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Price in India
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is priced at ₹1,39,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The 12GB + 512GB model costs ₹1,59,999, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB variant is priced at ₹1,89,999.
Built-In Privacy Display Takes Centre Stage
The standout feature of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is its newly integrated Privacy Display. Unlike traditional screen guards or third-party accessories, this privacy feature is built directly into the display hardware.

With a simple toggle, users can narrow the screen’s viewing angles, preventing people sitting nearby from clearly seeing the content on the screen. Importantly, the display maintains accurate brightness and colour clarity when viewed head-on. At just 7.9mm thick, the S26 Ultra is also the slimmest Ultra device Samsung has launched so far.
Performance and Charging
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, which Samsung claims delivers its fastest and most efficient performance yet. The smartphone also supports Super Fast Charging 3.0, allowing the battery to charge up to 75% in just 30 minutes.
Advanced Camera Setup
In terms of photography, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra packs a 200MP primary wide sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP periscope lens, and a 10MP telephoto camera.
Samsung has further enhanced low-light photography with wider apertures and improved Nightography Video capabilities. The upgraded Super Steady mode ensures smoother and more stable video recording.
Smarter AI and Security Features
The device comes equipped with an upgraded version of Bixby, along with new AI-powered tools such as Now Nudge, Now Brief, and an enhanced Circle to Search feature. Samsung has also included advanced security tools like Private Album and long-term OS update support, reinforcing its focus on privacy and user protection.
With a blend of innovation in privacy, performance, and imaging, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra aims to redefine what users expect from a flagship smartphone in 2026.
