Oppo is gearing up to expand its K-series lineup with a strong emphasis on performance and gaming. The upcoming Oppo K15 Pro series is officially scheduled to debut in China in the first week of April, alongside a couple of new accessories.
Launch Date Confirmed
The Oppo K15 Pro series will launch in China on April 1, according to the company’s official announcement. The lineup is expected to include two models—the Oppo K15 Pro and the Oppo K15 Pro+—although detailed differences between them have not yet been revealed.
Teasers shared on Weibo suggest that the Oppo K15 Pro series is being designed specifically with gamers in mind. One of the standout features confirmed so far is the inclusion of active cooling fans, placing these devices in the same category as performance-focused gaming smartphones.
Accessories Also Incoming
Alongside the smartphones, Oppo will introduce new accessories, including the Oppo Watch X3 Mini and the Oppo Enco Clip 2 earbuds. The Watch X3 Mini is expected to be a compact version of the existing Watch X3, while the Enco Clip 2 is being tuned by Danish audio brand Dynaudio, indicating a focus on premium audio quality.
Expected Specifications
Leaks suggest that the Oppo K15 Pro series could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, offering strong performance for gaming and multitasking. The devices are also expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display, delivering sharp visuals and smooth performance.

In terms of cameras, the lineup may include a 50-megapixel primary sensor. Battery details remain uncertain, but reports hint at a massive capacity, possibly reaching up to 8,000mAh, which would be a major highlight for power users.
Interestingly, earlier rumors pointed toward a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, but more recent leaks indicate that MediaTek’s chipset is the more likely choice.
Gaming-Centric Upgrades
The biggest highlight of the Oppo K15 Pro series is its gaming-oriented approach. With active cooling fans and expected high-performance hardware, the devices aim to deliver sustained performance without overheating—an important factor for mobile gamers.
This positions the lineup as a direct evolution of its predecessor, the K13 Turbo Pro, which already offered features like vapour chamber cooling and flagship-level performance.
Will It Launch in India?
As of now, there is no confirmation regarding the India launch of the Oppo K15 Pro series. Oppo recently introduced the K14 series in India, and the company often follows different naming and release strategies for global markets.
The Oppo K15 Pro series appears to be shaping up as a strong contender in the gaming smartphone segment. With features like active cooling, powerful chipsets, and potentially massive battery capacity, Oppo is clearly targeting users who demand both performance and endurance.
If the leaks hold true, the Oppo K15 Pro series could set a new benchmark for mid-range gaming smartphones in 2026.
