London-based tech company Nothing is all set to launch its next smartphones, the Nothing Phone 4a and Phone 4a Pro, on March 5. The company has begun teasing the devices online, offering fans a sneak peek at the design and some of the key specifications. The global launch will be followed by a release in India.
Expected Pricing
Ahead of the official announcement, the pricing of the devices has reportedly been leaked. According to tipster Debayan Roy (@Gadgetsdata) on X, the Nothing Phone 4a is expected to start at ₹31,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Higher variants with 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB are also anticipated, though their prices remain undisclosed. The Phone 4a Pro is tipped to start around ₹40,000 and may feature a “polarising design.”
The Phone 4a is expected to come with UFS 3.1 storage and a 50MP telephoto camera capable of 3.5x optical zoom, enhancing its photography capabilities.
Nothing Phone 4a Design and Build
Nothing is known for its signature transparent design, and the Phone 4a series will continue that trend. Teaser images suggest a semi-transparent back panel with a redesigned lighting system. Instead of the segmented lights seen on earlier models, the new phones will likely feature an updated “Glyph Bar” with multiple small LEDs that are brighter and can display notifications, charging status, and other alerts.

The phones are expected to launch in multiple color options, giving users more choices while refining Nothing’s distinctive aesthetic rather than overhauling it completely.
Performance and Display
The Nothing Phone 4a is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor, paired with a 6.78-inch OLED display featuring a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and high-quality visuals.

The Pro variant could feature a more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset and potentially a higher refresh rate display. Both phones are expected to pack a 5,400mAh battery with support for 50W fast charging. They will run the latest Android version with Nothing’s clean and minimal user interface layered on top.
Camera Setup
The Phone 4a is expected to sport a triple rear camera system, including a 50MP main sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto camera, along with a 32MP front camera for selfies and video calls.
Availability and Launch
Nothing has confirmed that the launch event will be streamed online, and in India, the phones are expected to be sold through Flipkart, which has already created a dedicated landing page for the devices.
With enhanced performance, a sleek signature design, and competitive pricing, the Nothing Phone 4a series aims to strengthen Nothing’s presence in the mid-range smartphone market, offering users a unique combination of style and functionality.
