LG CES 2026: Wallpaper OLED & Gallery TV Make a Stunning Comeback

LG Brings Back the Iconic Wallpaper OLED After Six Years

LG CES 2026 reveals OLED evo W6 Wallpaper TV & Gallery TV with wireless 4K, Gallery+ service, and art-inspired design.

LG CES 2026: Ahead of CES, LG revealed its 2026 smart TV lineup, bringing back one of its most iconic shapes to the market and taking aim at Samsung’s Arty TV. In an effort to better integrate screen technology with interior design, the South Korean electronics firm has announced the reintroduction of at least one of its products, the Wallpaper OLED range, along with a brand-new Gallery TV series.

After six years, LG brings back the OLED wallpaper.

With the release of the OLED WX in 2020, LG revived its Wallpaper OLED series. The Wallpaper TVs, which made their debut in 2017, were well-known for their wall-grazing style and incredibly thin construction. The new model, called the LG OLED evo W6, keeps that idea front and center while incorporating modern improvements.

The OLED evo W6’s ultra-thin 9mm-class housing allows for a massive 100-inch screen. Advances in panel design have made it possible to include those essential components into the display panel itself, enabling a new and superior magnetic mount that keeps the TV flush with the wall.

True wireless functionality is one of the most significant improvements. All ports and processing gear, which can be found up to 10 meters distant, are carried by the Zero Connect Box. This makes for a tidy and compact configuration with just one power wire hooked into the TV. According to the manufacturer, the TV’s Alpha 9 Gen 3 processor enables wireless transmission of “visually lossless” 4K video and audio.

Targeting Samsung’s The Frame, Gallery TV

Apart from the Wallpaper OLED, LG also introduced Gallery TV, a new line of art-driven televisions that directly challenges Samsung’s well-liked Frame series. When in idle mode, Gallery TV transforms into wall art and displays AI-generated visuals, personal photos, cinematic photography, and classic artwork.

Presentation has been LG’s focus. In order to help the display appear more like framed art than just another TV, those TVs will have a new Gallery Mode, anti-reflective panels, and revised bezels. At launch, Gallery TV will come in 55-inch and 65-inch models.

Gallery+Service Completes the Picture

For its part, LG’s similarly styled Gallery+ service, which debuted in 2018, is connected to both the Wallpaper OLED and Gallery TV. According to LG, the service enhances the ambient experience by fusing mood-appropriate background music with visuals.

In keeping with its catalogue-wide strategy, which aims to provide a core set of capabilities across rather than simply special features for a particular model, Gallery+ is, of course, not limited to these new models and functions across many of LG’s smart TVs.

LG’s Strategy for CES 2026

With the Wallpaper OLED’s comeback and the new Gallery TV, LG is clearly taking the idea that TVs are about more than just screens seriously. In order to satisfy customers who want their TVs to blend in with their living areas or stand out as works of art when not in use, the company is fusing design, wireless technology, and content offerings.

At CES 2026 in Las Vegas, pricing and availability will be revealed. Hopefully, we’ll also get a closer look at all the functions LG has included in this new house robot.
