Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026)   : Lenovo has officially launched the Legion Y70 (2026), a new flagship gaming smartphone aimed at users looking for top-level performance, premium display quality, and long battery life. The smartphone comes equipped with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, a high-refresh-rate 2K display, and a huge 8,000mAh battery, making it one of the most powerful gaming phones introduced this year.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Powers the Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026)

The Legion Y70 (2026) is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which is based on an advanced 3nm architecture. The chipset is designed to deliver flagship-grade gaming and multitasking performance while maintaining better power efficiency.

Lenovo has paired the processor with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. According to the company, the smartphone scored over 3.26 million points on AnTuTu benchmarking tests, highlighting its gaming-focused capabilities.

6.82-Inch 2K 144Hz Display for Gaming

The smartphone features a large 6.82-inch 2K display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 510ppi pixel density. The screen supports the DCI-P3 colour gamut and is claimed to offer up to 7,000 nits peak brightness.

Lenovo says the display consumes less power compared to traditional 1.5K panels, helping improve battery efficiency during gaming and multimedia use. The device also comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance.

Advanced Cooling System for Heavy Gaming

To manage heat during intensive gaming sessions, Lenovo has introduced a new cooling system in the Legion Y70 (2026). The company says the smartphone uses liquid gold and advanced thermal conductive materials to improve heat dissipation.

This cooling setup is designed to maintain stable performance during heavy workloads and reduce thermal throttling while gaming for long durations.

Dual Rear Cameras and 32MP Selfie Sensor

The Lenovo Legion Y70 (2026) runs Android 16 out of the box and weighs around 224g.

In China, the smartphone starts at CNY 3,099 (roughly Rs. 44,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 256GB variants are priced at CNY 3,699 and CNY 4,099 respectively, while the top-end 16GB + 1TB version costs CNY 4,899 (around Rs. 70,000).

Lenovo is offering the smartphone in Carbon Black and Ice Soul White colour options through its official online store in China.
