Google unveils Gemini 3 Deep Think, a new AI for Ultra-tier users offering advanced reasoning in math, science, logic, and multi-step tasks.

Google has unveiled an advanced new AI enhancement named Gemini 3 Deep Think, which is now accessible within the Gemini application for users holding the Google AI Ultra subscription. Deep Think is intended to address inquiries requiring extensive and comprehensive reasoning, a task that has traditionally been feasible only for highly intelligent human problem solvers.

Google states that this represents its most sophisticated reasoning capability to date. It provides more comprehensive and well-organized responses for complex subjects such as mathematics, science, and logic. The launch demonstrates that Google is endeavoring to develop artificial intelligence that not only responds but also engages in systematic reasoning.

What Is Google’s Gemini 3 Deep Think?

Gemini 3 Deep Think is capable of simultaneously processing multiple lines of reasoning. Rather than adhering to a single linear trajectory, it evaluates multiple potential solutions concurrently and subsequently selects the most accurate one. Due to this parallel-processing approach, it demonstrates significantly improved performance on multi-step problems that require attentiveness, precision, and memory.

Google announced that the model has surpassed multiple prior AI reasoning benchmarks. On the highly challenging “Humanity’s Last Exam” benchmark, in which AI is required to reason without external aids, Deep Think achieved a score of 41.0%, surpassing all previous models.

When Deep Think employed code execution, it achieved a score of 45.1% on ARC-AGI-2, which Google considers a significant milestone in automated reasoning. The achievement is founded on Gemini 2.5 Deep Think, which has already attained human-level performance in competitions such as the International Mathematical Olympiad and the ICPC World Finals.

Gemini 3 Deep Think is currently available to Ultra-tier users. To utilize this feature, users simply need to launch the Gemini application and choose the “Deep Think” mode from the prompt bar while operating the Gemini 3 Pro model. It functions seamlessly across all supported devices and is capable of addressing both straightforward inquiries and complex technical tasks.
