Group chats are now available to all logged-in users, regardless of whether they are on the Free, Go, Plus, or Pro subscriptions, according to an announcement made by OpenAI on X. It was formerly exclusively available to people in Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, and New Zealand. For everyone, however, the curtain has finally been raised.
It’s easy to start a group chat. Simply tap the tiny icon located in ChatGPT’s upper-right corner. ChatGPT creates a unique connection as soon as you create the group. Anyone you wish to invite can be invited by sharing this link. In class, it’s as simple as passing a note.

Upon joining, users can tag ChatGPT for assistance or engage in regular chats. Additionally, the AI is aware of what is being discussed and is capable of responding independently when necessary. You can easily handle everything, respond to individual chats, and respond to messages.
Each group you make appears in a separate section on the side panel. Additionally, you may just tap the three dots to eliminate a group at any time. There are no conditions.
