Apple launches Lunar New Year AirPods Pro 3 Year of the Horse edition with festive design, limited availability in Asia, same $249 price.
Apple will celebrate the forthcoming Lunar New Year on February 17, 2026, with a special gift for fans. The firm has released a limited-edition AirPods Pro 3 model inspired by the Year of the Horse. This edition focuses on festive style and exclusivity rather than new technologies. These earbuds, which will be available for purchase on January 5, are designed for users who like possessing something uncommon.
Like previous Lunar New Year editions, this one is discreet yet important, giving it a little yet elegant update for collectors and dedicated Apple customers.
Lunar New Year AirPods Pro 3 Year of the Horse Design Details
The Lunar New Year AirPods Pro 3 stand out mostly for their charging case style. Apple has carved a silver horse emoji on the front of the casing.
This emoji is not available with the ordinary model, making this edition unique. The silver tone keeps the appearance refined rather than showy.
Small stars and colorful motifs surround the horse sign, creating a joyous atmosphere without going overboard. The earbuds’ look remains unchanged. This design approach is very Apple-like: basic, clean, and classy.

Lunar New Year AirPods Pro 3: Specifications, Price, and Availability
The Lunar New Year AirPods Pro 3 deliver the same performance as the ordinary version. There are no changes to sound quality, features, or prices. The special edition has the same $249 price tag.
The AirPods Pro 3 were first introduced in 2025 during the iPhone 17 announcement, and they had significant improvements. They have substantially stronger Active Noise Cancellation, fuller sound with a redesigned acoustic system, and up to 8 hours of listening time with ANC enabled.
Apple has improved comfort by researching thousands of ear types and introducing five different ear tip sizes. The earphones are now IP57 rated, which makes them more resistant to dust, perspiration, and moisture. Extra features such as a built-in heart rate sensor, Live Translation, and intelligent transparency modes make them feel like a genuine upgrade.
Orders for the Lunar New Year issue are likely to arrive beginning January 8, depending on when you place your order. It’s a limited edition, but for fans who enjoy festive touches, this is a version worth noting.
