Pushkar Dhami Holds Mukhya Sevak Ki Chaupal in Haridwar

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami engages with villagers in Haridwar, ensures quick resolution of grievances and highlights youth, farmer, and rural development initiatives.

Haridwar, Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami participated in the “Mukhya Sevak Ki Chaupal” programme on Tuesday at Village Aryanagar (Gajiwali), Shyampur Kangri, as part of the state government’s ongoing “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar” campaign.

During the event, Pushkar Dhami interacted directly with residents, sitting among them and assuring that the government would focus on practical action on the ground rather than just administrative paperwork. Village heads and local citizens from several villages presented their grievances, which the Chief Minister reviewed carefully. He gave immediate instructions to departmental officers to ensure timely resolution of the issues.

Pushkar Dhami directed the District Magistrate to expedite all pending applications and urged officials to address matters immediately wherever feasible. He described the Chaupal as a platform of accountability, designed to bring government services to citizens’ doorsteps and reduce the need for repeated visits to offices.

Emphasising transparency, sensitivity, and accountability as core government principles, Dhami assured that no complaint would go unheard and public interest would always be prioritised. He called public support his “biggest motivation” and reiterated his commitment to being a servant of the people, stating that citizen satisfaction is his greatest honour.

Under the “Jan-Jan Ki Sarkar, Jan-Jan Ke Dwar” initiative, Pushkar Dhami  noted that lakhs of residents across Uttarakhand have benefited over the past one and a half months. Highlighting youth welfare, he stated that more than 28,000 young people have been employed in government jobs through transparent recruitment processes, while the government continues to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship.

Focusing on agriculture, Pushkar Dhami spoke about welfare schemes to protect farmers’ interests, improve incomes, expand irrigation facilities, and introduce modern farming techniques. He also described the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) as a historic and visionary step promoting equality, social harmony, and justice.

Pushkar Dhami Highlights Rural Development in Haridwar, Emphasises Central-State Coordination for Inclusive Progress

Pushkar Dhami highlighted progress in rural Haridwar, including improvements in roads, electricity, drinking water, healthcare, education, and women’s safety and empowerment. He stressed that close coordination between central and state governments has accelerated development work, ensuring that schemes reach even the most marginalised citizens.

Concluding, the Chief Minister  Pushkar Dhami said public suggestions guide the government’s actions and that collaboration between citizens and administration can drive limitless development. With sustained public trust and participation, he expressed confidence that Uttarakhand could emerge as one of the best states in India.
