Pushkar Dhami Engages With BJP Leaders to Accelerate Development Work in Khatima

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurates new chambers for advocates in Khatima, meets BJP leaders, and announces further judicial infrastructure development.

Khatima, Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami held a meeting at his official residence with Rajya Sabha MP and BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Cabinet Minister Ganesh Joshi, and MLAs Khajan Das and Premchand Aggarwal to discuss organisational matters and ongoing development projects across their constituencies.

Sharing details on social media, Pushkar Dhami stated that discussions with Mahendra Bhatt focused on party organisational matters, while consultations with other representatives addressed the progress of development schemes and constituency-specific issues.

Earlier, the Chief Minister inaugurated newly constructed chambers for advocates at the Khatima Civil Court, built at a cost of ₹1 crore, coinciding with the Mahashivratri celebrations. During the ceremony, Pushkar Dhami cut the ribbon, lit the ceremonial lamp, and congratulated the advocates on the completion of the facility. He emphasised that the new chambers would serve as an important hub for judicial discussions, legal studies, and facilitate faster judicial processes for advocates and the public alike.

Pushkar Dhami Highlights National Judicial Reforms, Uttarakhand Modernises Courts and Legal Education

Highlighting national judicial reforms, Pushkar Dhami noted that since Prime Minister Narendra Modi assumed office, over 7,000 courts and around 11,000 residential units have been constructed nationwide. He said Uttarakhand is also modernising its judicial system and strengthening legal education in line with the Prime Minister’s vision.

Additionally, Pushkar Dhami announced an allocation of ₹2.5 crore for the construction of 20 more advocate chambers in Khatima, reiterating his commitment to the holistic development of the region and its legal infrastructure.
