would prioritize the preservation of the state’s religious, cultural, and natural heritage. In addition to providing local youngsters with new work and self-employment opportunities, the project would significantly strengthen the state’s economy. According to him, the departments need to start working on the plan this fiscal year.

In addition, the zones would support areas that contribute to Uttarakhand’s spiritual identity, including as yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, naturopathy, indigenous handicrafts, mountain products, and cultural events, officials said.

According to Dhami, the project would enhance the state’s tourism industry and solidify its reputation as the “spiritual capital.” He emphasized the necessity of upgrading winter travel plans, pointing out that in order to draw in more tourists, winter locations must extend their infrastructure in addition to boosting travel, lodging, transit, and security.

He also urged the state to aggressively market its tourism potential utilizing both conventional and contemporary channels, both domestically and internationally.

The chief minister stated that the overall goal is to protect Uttarakhand’s natural and spiritual heritage while promoting tourism, raising the standard of living for locals, and ensuring sustainable development.
