CM Yogi Adityanath launches Panchayati Raj newsletter highlighting village progress, women empowerment, and Gram Panchayat success stories in UP.
Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched the Panchayati Raj Department’s monthly publication, “Panchayaton Ki Pragati Gatha.” On this occasion, Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar presented the Chief Minister with the department’s annual calendar on women’s empowerment, titled “Nari Shakti Ki Nai Udaan, Gaon Badal Rahi Mahila Pradhan.”
The Chief Minister stated that Gram Panchayats are the most powerful units of democracy, and that only their empowerment can allow the state to thrive as a whole.
The Chief Minister stated that this monthly publication will be an excellent platform for communicating to the public the good improvements, innovations, and public welfare efforts taking place in Gram Panchayats. This platform will bring together successful development tales from villages, inspiring other Panchayats.

Every month, one excellent Gram Panchayat will be highlighted in the newsletter for its great development activities, transparent administration, and public participation.
Along with this, a brief overview of one of the Panchayati Raj Department’s major schemes, campaigns undertaken around the state, training programs, and accomplishments will be provided.
Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar stated that this newsletter will serve as an inspirational document for Panchayat officials. Anil Kumar, Principal Secretary, Panchayati Raj, described it as a significant step forward in terms of information exchange.
Meanwhile, Director Panchayati Raj Amit Kumar Singh stated that this publication will enhance the Panchayati Raj system.
