Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday chaired a key meeting with BJP and RSS leaders in Nawabganj to discuss strategies and strengthen organizational unity ahead of the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections. The session focused on evaluating the party’s performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and planning the roadmap for future electoral success.
Reviewing 2024 Lok Sabha Performance
The meeting was held at Pandit Deendayal Sanatan Dharma Vidyalaya and attended by senior leaders including state BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary, general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh, RSS pracharak Shri Ram, and office-bearers of various RSS-affiliated organizations.
Leaders assessed the impact of internal differences on the BJP’s performance in the Bundelkhand region during the 2024 elections. Key seats such as Banda, Chitrakoot, Hamirpur, Jalaun, and Fatehpur were lost, while Farrukhabad was retained with difficulty.
Development and Global Interest Highlighted by CM
Addressing the gathering, Yogi Adityanath emphasized that India remains strong despite global uncertainties. He highlighted the achievements of the “Double Engine Sarkar” in Uttar Pradesh over the past nine years and mentioned his recent visits to Japan and Singapore, noting increasing global investor interest in the state.

He stressed that closer coordination between the government, BJP, RSS, and affiliated organizations is critical to building a united front for the 2027 elections.

State BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary reiterated that effective collaboration between like-minded organizations is essential for the upcoming assembly elections. Feedback from grassroots workers and improved coordination between party and government will play a key role in shaping the party’s strategy.
