CM Yogi said UP’s youth will lead ‘Viksit Bharat’, highlighting their role in sports, culture, and innovation. He launched youth schemes and urged cultural revival.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that the state, which is home to a vast pool of talented youth, will play a prominent role in the construction of a “Viksit Bharat” by making significant contributions to sports, culture, and innovation.

He further stated that Uttar Pradesh is the gateway to a developed India, and the ‘Viksit Uttar Pradesh’ campaign has garnered an overwhelming amount of public support.

At a ceremony held in this location, the Chief Minister presented certificates and tablets to the victors of the National Youth Festival 2025 and Youth Parliament 2025. Additionally, he initiated the MLA and MP Sports Competitions, inaugurated Youth Promotion Centres, and distributed sports supplies to 16,000 Yuvak Mangal Dals and Mahila Mangal Dals. Additionally, the state’s most distinguished regional juvenile welfare officers were honored.

CM Yogi referred to the sports kit distribution before Diwali as a special offering to the youth, stating that over 1.05 lakh Mangal Dals are active in the state, with over 80,000 already equipped with sports kits. He announced that sports competitions will now be conducted from the village level up to Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies, thereby promoting a culture of healthy competition and fitness.

The Chief Minister urged the youth to revive traditional singing, storytelling, drama, and Ramlila performances in order to promote local culture in addition to sports. He stated that these traditions encapsulate the history and essence of Indian society and must be preserved by the newer generation.

CM Yogi emphasized the ongoing Mission Shakti (Phase V) campaign, which is designed to guarantee the safety, respect, and self-reliance of women by disseminating information about welfare programs and empowering Mahila Mangal Dals to extend the mission to every Gram Panchayat.

The Chief Minister disclosed that, subsequent to a 28-hour Assembly discussion, more than 300 intellectuals visited 1,000 educational institutions, collecting input from 57,600 local bodies, as part of the Developed Uttar Pradesh initiative. The Samarth Portal has received more than 4 million suggestions to date. He stated that the foundation of Vision 2047 will be established by self-reliant villages, which will then progress to self-reliant districts and a self-reliant state.

CM Yogi reiterated the government’s dedication to the development of sports infrastructure, stating that playgrounds are being constructed in each Gram Panchayat, as well as mini-stadiums at block levels and primary stadiums at districts. Additionally, open gyms and training centers are being established.

He also mentioned that 12.64 lakh young people have registered on the AI-enabled Yuva Saathi Portal, which enables them to access a variety of initiatives. Additionally, Rs 2 crore is being allocated to the establishment of youth centers in 50 development blocks.

The Chief Minister also stated that 1.5 lakh young people participated in unity marches, podcasts, and reel competitions during the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, which reflected the spirit of national integration.

“The architects of Viksit Bharat@2047 are the youth of today.” CM Yogi urged Yuvak and Mahila Mangal Dals to oversee this transformation, stating that their endeavors will determine India’s future when it celebrates its 100th anniversary of independence.
