Smart meters are being quickly installed throughout the state’s districts by Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL). The state government intends to install more than 3 crore 9 lakh 78 thousand smart meters; thus far, more than 62 lakh 65 thousand have been placed.
