Three major projects in housing, logistics, and data centers to generate over 20,000 jobs in Uttar Pradesh

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath marked a successful start to his visit to Singapore as the Universal Success Group signed three major MoUs worth a total of ₹6,650 crore. These investments will span key sectors including housing, logistics, and hyperscale data centers, and are expected to generate over 20,000 jobs across the state.

During discussions with investors, CM Yogi highlighted policy stability, improved connectivity, and rapidly developing industrial infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. He also invited the group to visit Lucknow to explore setting up a data center in the state. The Uttar Pradesh government reaffirmed its commitment to providing comprehensive support to investors at all stages. These agreements, concluded on the very first day of the visit, are seen as a major step in boosting the state’s economy, enhancing urban development, and creating large-scale employment opportunities.

Key Projects and Investments

1. International Theme-Based Township at Jewar Airport

An international theme-based township will be developed over 100 acres in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEDA) area near Jewar Airport. The project involves an investment of ₹3,500 crore and is expected to create around 12,000 jobs. The township is scheduled to launch in 2027 and aims to give a distinctive identity to the rapidly growing urban region around Jewar International Airport.

2. Logistics Park on Kanpur-Lucknow Highway

A 50-acre logistics park is planned on the Kanpur-Lucknow highway with a proposed investment of ₹650 crore. The project is expected to generate approximately 7,500 employment opportunities and is targeted for launch in 2027. The logistics park will play a pivotal role in accelerating the state’s industrial and export activities.

3. Hyperscale Data Centre Park in Noida/Greater Noida

A 40 MW hyperscale data center park will be established over 10 acres in the Noida/Greater Noida area. With an investment of ₹2,500 crore, the project will create around 1,500 jobs and is expected to commence in 2028. This initiative aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a leading data center hub in India.
