Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya is completed, saffron flag raised, marking a historic moment. CM Yogi Adityanath hails state’s limitless potential.
On Tuesday, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath declared that the “saffron flag is fluttering” and that the Ram Janmabhoomi temple, the birthplace of Lord Ram, has been “completed today.”
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, also emphasized the state’s “unlimited potential.”
“Uttar Pradesh is a state with limitless potential,” declared Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Lord Ram was born there as well. The magnificent Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple is finished today, and the saffron flag is flying atop it.
On Tuesday, in honor of Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 350th martyrdom anniversary, the Chief Minister took part in a “Special Gurumati Samagam.”

Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled to Ayodhya to raise the saffron flag atop the Ram Temple, CM Yogi Adityanath said on the occasion.
Yesterday, PM Narendra Modi traveled to Ayodhya. The saffron flag of India’s Sanatan Dharma was raised atop the Shri Ram temple today to commemorate the completion of the temple’s construction at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi. The generations of Sikh Gurus have sacrificed themselves for this same saffron banner, according to CM Yogi.
PM Modi and Mohan Bhagwat, the president of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), ceremoniously raised the saffron flag atop the 191-foot-tall shikhar of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya earlier in the day to mark the temple’s completion.
Three holy symbols—Om, the Sun, and the Kovidara tree—carried by the “Dharma Dhwaj” each stand for deep spiritual principles derived from Sanatan tradition. Ten feet in height and twenty feet in length make up the right-angled triangle flag.
