Vardhman Special Steels, Ludhiana DC, and local officials launch VSSL Mera Bill App to boost digital & financial literacy for women entrepreneurs.

The Wornen Digital Literacy Project, or VSSL Mera Bill App, was introduced for the women micro-entrepreneurs in the Ludhiana district by Vardhman Special Steels Limited as part of its CSR program Nari Shakti and in collaboration with the District Administration.

Additionally Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Arnarjit Bains and Jasdev Sekhon, Additional Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Ludhiana, along with Lead District Manager (LDM) Ludhiana, Dr. Pooja Chatley, Head, Management Studies, Khalsa College for Women, and representatives from Peabody and Vardhman, inaugurated the two-day training program, which aims to equip Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Community Resource Persons (CRPs) with digital and financial literacy.

Vardhman Special Steels Limited and its Chairman Sachit Jain have demonstrated a laudable commitment to women’s empowerment through skill and financial literacy initiatives, which ADC Amarjit Bains praised. Educating women about financial management and the advantages of utilizing the Mera Bill App to support company growth and transparency is the main goal of the training session.
