Sangrur, Punjab: Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated 508 new emergency response vehicles as part of the Dial-112 helpline project, marking a major milestone in Punjab police modernization. Speaking at the flag-off ceremony, the CM emphasized the state’s progress in law and order and industrial growth.

“The true measure of law and order in any state is how many factories and industries are being established,” CM Mann said. “The fact that the country’s second-largest steel plant has been set up in Punjab reflects the strength of our law enforcement. We have successfully bridged the gap between the police and the public.”

He also underlined the role of citizens in combating drug-related crimes, stating, “Our success in the fight against narcotics has been possible only with the cooperation of the public and the police. Punjab is now very close to victory in this battle.”
