In Block Sunam-2, Chairperson Navdeep Kaur, wife of S. Bhupinder Singh, along with Vice-Chairperson Davinder Singh of Balwar Kalan, formally took charge at the Block Development and Panchayat Office.

The Sunam development committee leadership change also took place in Sunam-1, where Panchayat Samiti Chairperson Pradeep Kaur, wife of S. Gurpreet Singh Bigarwal, and Vice-Chairperson Sandeep Singh Soni of Lakhmirewala assumed their responsibilities.
Officials and representatives congratulated the new team and wished them a successful tenure under the Sunam block development committee framework.
