Punjab Cabinet Minister Barinder Goel congratulated residents of the area after the successful completion of the Riariki Rajbah work. The minister shared the update on the Aam Aadmi Party highlighted the importance of the project for farmers and irrigation facilities.
According to the information shared by the minister, the concrete-lined Riariki Rajbah work has been completed within just 75 days. The 45-kilometre-long rajbah has been constructed at a cost of ₹22 crore and is expected to provide better water supply facilities to agricultural areas.
Riariki Rajbah Work to Benefit 45,000 Acres of Farmland
The newly completed rajbah will help in delivering irrigation water to around 45,000 acres of land. The project is expected to improve water management and support farmers by ensuring a more efficient irrigation system.
