Punjab Government to Commemorate Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th Martyrdom Anniversary
New Delhi/Chandigarh : The Punjab Government will begin a series of special events on October 25 to commemorate the 350th martyrdom day of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, revered as Hind Di Chadar. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal will lead the inaugural ceremonies in the national capital.
A government spokesperson said the series of events will begin with an Ardas ceremony at Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib, Delhi, to honour the supreme sacrifice of the ninth Sikh Guru. The ceremony aims to spread the Guru’s timeless message of human rights, freedom of faith, and secular values.
Later in the evening, a Kirtan Darbar will be held at Gurdwara Sri Rakab Ganj Sahib, where both Bhagwant Mann and Arvind Kejriwal will pay obeisance. Prominent Ragis, including Bhai Amarjit Singh Taan, Bhai Anantbir Singh, Bhai Chamanjit Singh Lal, Bhai Joginder Singh Riar, Bhai Davinder Singh Sodhi, and Bhai Jaskaran Singh, will perform live Kirtan.

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government has planned a series of grand religious and cultural events to mark this historic milestone.
