Massive Crackdown Under ‘War Against Drugs’
On the 211th day of Punjab’s ongoing War Against Drugs campaign, state police intensified their efforts with simultaneous raids at 328 locations. The coordinated action led to significant seizures of narcotics and the arrest of traffickers involved in the illicit trade.
According to officials, the police recovered 5.8 kilograms of heroin, 579 narcotic tablets and capsules, and ₹3,160 in drug money. These recoveries highlight both the scale of the operation and the persistence of drug networks across the state.
