Punjab Cabinet Ministers send greetings on Guru Nanak Dev Ji Prakash Purab, urging peace, equality, selfless service, and welfare for all.
The Punjab Cabinet Ministers Harpal Singh Cheema, Aman Arora, Dr. Baljit Kaur, Sanjeev Arora, Dr. Balbir Singh, Lal Chand Kataruchak, Laljit Singh Bhullar, Harjot Singh Bains, Harbhajan Singh, Gurmeet Singh Khudian, Dr. Ravjot Singh, Barinder Kumar Goyal, Hardeep Singh Mundian, Tarunpreet Singh Sond, and Mohinder Bhagat sent their best wishes to the people of Punjab on the holy occasion of the Prakash Purab of the founder of Sikhism, Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
The Ministers made a joint statement today saying that the holy day on November 5, 2025, reminds everyone of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s timeless and international teachings, which are based on the three main ideas of “Naam Japo,” “Kirat Karo,” and “Vand Chakko.”

They asked everyone to follow the way shown by the first Sikh Guru and to live by his teachings of one God, equality for all, selfless service, and peace in the community. The Ministers said that Guru Ji’s idea of “Sarbat Da Bhala” (welfare for all) is more important now than it has ever been.
The Ministers prayed for the peace, health, and prosperity of all the people, but especially for the people of Punjab. They hoped that the holy day would motivate everyone to work toward creating a society without discrimination and full of fraternity.
The Ministers also talked about how important “Langar” and “Sewa” (selfless service) are to Sikhism, which Guru Nanak Dev Ji founded. They encouraged people to aid the less fortunate and work for the good of the community.
