Punjab Government appoints Harsunhinder Pal Singh Brar as Higher Education Director and Rubinderjit Singh Brar as Punjab Investment Bureau CEO.

Chandigarh: As part of a deliberate reorganization to improve administrative effectiveness and governance in critical ministries, the Punjab government has released new postings for two recently promoted IAS officials from the 2020 batch. Two officers from the 2020 IAS class, Mr. Rubinderjit Singh Brar and Mr. Harsunhinder Pal Singh Brar, were given new duties.

Higher Education Punjab’s new director is Harsunhinder Pal Singh Brar.

Mr. Harpreet Singh Sudan, IAS, has been relieved of the additional responsibility he was carrying by the appointment of Mr. Harsunhinder Pal Singh Brar as Director, Higher Education, Punjab. With the goal of strengthening academic governance, improving policy execution, and enhancing institutional performance throughout the state, this action is anticipated to give Punjab’s higher education sector new direction and strategic leadership.

Rubinderjit Singh Brar was appointed Punjab Investment Promotion Bureau’s new chief executive officer.

Mr. Rubinderjit Singh Brar has been assigned to the Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion as an Additional Chief Executive Officer. His services have been placed at the disposal of the Department of Investment Promotion. In this post, Mr. Brar will be crucial in supporting the state’s economic development goal, encouraging industrial expansion, and facilitating investment projects.
