Punjab government launches 360° Mixed Reality experience for Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s 350th martyrdom, immersing visitors in his life, sacrifice, and teachings.

To honor Guru Tegh Bahadur’s 350th Martyrdom Day, the Punjab government has launched a 360-degree mixed reality (MR) experience, officials announced on Sunday. The goal is to bring the martyr’s legacy closer to the younger generation.

They stated that by placing QR codes at the event site, attendees will be able to scan them with their smartphones to access the MR experience, bridging the gap between technology and spiritual devotion.

The interactive tour depicts significant moments from the Ninth Sikh Guru’s life by fusing virtual narrative with actual settings.
Officials claim that the MR layer was created with Flam’s assistance, and the augmented reality technology highlights Guru Tegh Bahadur’s teachings and sacrifice while producing immersive graphics.

Eleven pivotal incidents from the Guru’s life are recreated in the experience’s main feature, “The Eternal Flame of Sacrifice”.

These include the secret cremation at Rakab Ganj Sahib, his martyrdom at Chandni Chowk, his coronation, and his stand for religious freedom.

According to officials, each section is presented with intricate illustrations, real storytelling, and allusions from the Sri Guru Granth Sahib and other historical documents.

According to the government, the program allows people to engage deeply with Guru Tegh Bahadur’s sacrifice by acting as a link between the past and the present.
