Punjab CM Bhagwant Singh Mann paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi in Tokyo, urging the youth to follow Gandhi’s ideals of peace, truth, and non-violence.

Bhagwant Singh Mann, the chief minister of Punjab, paid floral homage to Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation, at Edogawa Gandhi Park in Tokyo, the first day of his trip to Japan.

Mahatma Gandhi was perhaps the only leader in the world to win the fight for freedom with his nonviolent philosophy, according to the chief minister. He asserted that all of us, but especially the younger generation, must step up and live up to the ideals of the nation’s founder by embracing the values of peace, harmony, and non-violence. According to Bhagwant Singh Mann, the father of the nation significantly contributed to India’s independence by turning the fight for freedom into a widespread movement.

According to the Chief Minister, the nation’s citizens would always be grateful to the legendary leader for his enormous influence in shaping modern-day India. He claimed that Gandhi ji’s teachings of truth, peace, love, friendship, and non-violence are remembered and upheld by people all across the world.
