PSEB completes Class 12 Entrepreneurship curriculum, empowering 5.6 lakh students with startup skills, innovation training, and job-creation opportunities.

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has completed the Class 12 Entrepreneurship curriculum, completing a two-year educational pathway intended to foster innovation, self-reliance, and job creation among students, according to S. Harjot Singh Bains, Minister of Education, Punjab. This is a significant initiative aimed at inspiring young minds towards innovation and self-employment.

S. Harjot Singh Bains praised the PSEB’s efforts, pointing to the success of the Business Blaster program that was introduced for Class 11 in 2022–2023. According to him, the PSEB has shown remarkable dedication by making entrepreneurship a required course in 3,692 senior secondary schools and by providing 104 training programs that have prepared 10,382 teachers and 231 master trainers.

About 5.60 lakh students will pursue entrepreneurship continuously in the 2026–2027 academic year thanks to the Class 12 curriculum and textbooks being prepared ahead of schedule, according to S. Bains. The comprehensive curriculum, which covers startup challenges, legal procedures, finance, budgeting, and more, will prepare Punjab’s youth to be job providers and economic drivers of the future.

He added that this program carries out a major pledge made by the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, to give students in government and accredited schools the mentality and practical skills necessary for self-employment, startups, and entrepreneurship, thus promoting the state’s economic growth.
